Can a Aussie PS3 ( I have the 80Gb Version ) play Blu ray Region free
Disks? I have found a site that states the Star trek Blurays are Region Free
but the thought accured to me that the PS3 might be only able to play the
PAL Format and maybe not the NTSC format which i assume the US Version of
the disks are that i am thinking of to purchase of Amazon!

I am particuly thinking of buying the Startrek Original Series on Bluray at
the moment.

Thanking All in advance of any Advice on this.

No such thing as Pal and NTSC in the BD world. Everything is pretty much 24
fps. ANy BD player can play region free content. Hence why it is region
free. The PS3 cannot play titles that are locked from other regions. Shame
really as it would be pretty much the perfect BD player if it could.
