I looked last night and was getting a generic site, that gave a link to
'dvd pacific' that seemed to go no where. After a while no page was
coming up at all.
I look today and the page from last week is back 'Currently being
Updated, we apologize for the inconveneice.' on CDPacific. And they are
still saying the same on DVDPacific.
I sent them an email, being a little anxious, 'what happened to your
stock?' and 'what is happening?'.
It didn't bounce.

When investigating what was happening with DVDPACIFIC, I discovered a
related article to do with their supplier letting go around 300-400
employees at Alliance and that they were closing or relocating on
March 16 - this could explain why stock is moving slow - it seems the
recession has really affected the DVD industry with many e-tailers in
the US suffering dramatic losses.

Strangely, if the rumour is true, Alliance has bought DVDPACIFIC, who
they sold DVD / Blu-Ray stock, too...

The fact that their web site is encouraging people to go elsewhere
doesn't indicate much of them.

I do the test with 'What's Good For the Goose' a 1969 Norman Wisdom
movie. I give a fail if they don't have it.
