Has BluRay really taken off?

Seems the DVDs vastly outnumber BluRay in the stores. And my local
library no longer offers them. Also the black writeable platters
cost a fortune!

Is no-one interested?

I am interested to know how the sales of blu-ray are progressing,
particularly now that I have a blu-ray player on the TV and the
'puter. My take on it is that blu-ray sales haven't exactly
overwhelmed the market, with new releases still in both formats. I'm
usually wrong though :)

Cheers

I can't see any better quality in BluRay even of a wide screen.
